“We had an RDI® moment in Walmart this weekend. I found a bag of strawberry marshmallows. I’ve never heard of strawberry marshmallows so I was very excited about it so I showed the bag to her and we had lots of facial gazing and excited facial expressions. It was great. Then we came home and made hot chocolate with “the mellows” and she loved it.
I think she as been better at eye contact lately. She asked me for a hug in the kitchen which she never ever does. And when she was playing in the sink she usually ignores me but when I came in the kitchen she said "1,2" so I would say "3,4" and back and forth. She does seem to be seeking me out for more interaction with her. YEA!” Michele G.
